Scott Spark 29er

Scott have a thing for producing stunningly light and fast cross-country race bikes, utilising the very latest in carbon fibre technology, and no where is this more evident than in the brand new 2012 Scott Spark 29er.

What makes it special?

There’s an updated IMP5 carbon fibre frame, the company’s own process that keeps the weight right down with parts like the dropouts and seat clamps even made out of the black stuff. Frame weight is just 1.89kg which is impressive however you look at it.

Suspension is 100mm front and rear with the novel TwinLoc handlebar mounted lever allowing you to easily lockout the fork and shock for blasting the smoother trails and roads, but the suspension is so good you’ll never need it.
