Who? | ||
What? The PRS takes this Splitfit idea and then adds a “tuneable suspension system” in the shape of elastomers between the rear rails and the saddle. These come in three different densities to tweak the softness to your preferred level. Koobi have also kept the width of their sports saddles nice and narrow rather than the broadness that creeps into a lot of “enhanced comfort” perches. | ||
Does it work? The downside is the extra bolts and complexity of the PRS system which keeps weight (320g) and price high for a manganese railed saddle. The way that the camel toe saddle tip can really give your plums a sharp bite if you slide across it sideways in technical situations or careless remounts caught us out a few times too.
