The time has come to part with my much loved Orange 224 down hill bike. This was my dream bike and has only been used for downhill use a handful of times and only been ridden on cycle paths on the odd occasion over the past 2 years due to an injury.
As much as I love the bike it does me no good hanging on the garage wall and needs to find a better home.
The frame size is 'L' (17") and comes kitted with Boxxer World Cups, XT, Hope M4s, RaceFace, Hussefelt and Hope kit.
The bike is like new, there's a small rub from an uplift day on the top tube shown in one of the pictures. This can easily be covered but i've shown it for compete transparency. I've got all the documents, handbooks and original unused shock pump for the WorldCups.
I really am gutted to have to sell this bike which cost an eye watering sum to build, I always hoped I'd get fit enough to ride it properly again :( It certainly represents great value for any new owner.
For any questions or for a full spec list please feel free to get in touch. Open to offers.
The 224 has stood the test of time, won multiple world championships and is one of the most complete DH bikes there is. It's light and easy to pedal and the suspension is really well balanced making the bike easy to handle and super plush.
