I have decided to put my Downhill mountain bike up for sale due to not using it since taking up diving.
I have made some adjustments to the standard spec to move from free ride to DH with triple clamp Boxxer forks and an E thirteen chain guide and bash guard.
The bike includes Hayes 9 hydraulic brakes, SDG freeride saddle, 200mm front suspension 170mm rear suspension, DMR flat pedals, Team siemans racing colours.
The rig is more than capable of doing even the most demanding of DH tracks that I pointed it down. I took it to fort william on many occasions and the DH track up there was no problem for the bike.
The bike new was £2500 (Evans Cycles) and the modifications were roughly £1500 (Fitted by Evans Cycles)
I am willing to sell for £850.
As mentioned in main text, the bike has been a great machine for me. I have ridden the world cup DH track on a number of years in Fort William. The bike eats up big jumps, drops and glides over most things without you knowing you are hitting them.
I have ridden my pals bikes and I always preferred my own.
